Job Title: Mid-weight Copywriter
Location: Manchester
Tasks and responsibilities include:
• Lead the creation of headline and body copy for all Creative campaigns
• Work in partnership with the creative team to form creative ideas and concepts
• Work closely with Art Directors / Designers to mould full concepts
• Good research skills
• Inspirational knowledge of writing for the youth market
• Understand target audiences and tailor copy to drive results
• Work across print, digital and social campaigns
• Develop scripts for content and radio
• Present ideas to the Creative Team / Client for approval and development
• Amend, revise or redevelop copy based on campaign results or feedback
• Proofread copy across the agency
• Liase and direct external creative partners to develop verbal campaign elements
• Monitor campaign results and ensure your copy is driving results
Inspire the Creative Team with industry best practice - Must have:
• Relevant degree or equivalent qualifications
• Knowledge of marketing theory and practical application
• Work Experience in the creative industry
• Excellent communication and team work skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Commercial awareness and ability to write for target audiences
Hours: 5 days per week with some flexibility required to meet needs of business
Salary: Up to 35k dependant on experience
